The class levels

Beginners courses are designed for complete beginners, and they are also perfect if you’re a more experienced dancer who’d like to practise the basics. In these classes, we cover essential technique, get a feel for the rhythms and styles of Arabic music, and have lots of fun dancing together in a relaxed group.

Improvers classes are suitable for dancers who have attended Rachael’s previous beginners courses, and you will get the most out of them if you continue to attend the beginners classes too. In these classes, we’ll go into more depth on a different topic each term. This is a chance to build on what you’ve learned in the beginners class, and start putting more of your dance skills into action!
