Bellydance Classes in Manchester

Rachael correcting a student in her Oxford beginner's bellydance class

Rachael’s bellydance classes will help you develop the skills and confidence to enjoy Egyptian dance in a social setting – whilst learning dance technique that looks beautiful, feels good, and supports your body’s natural movement.

This Autumn, Rachael is offering beginners courses, and also a new ‘Veil Skills’ course at ‘beginners plus’ level.

All classes are on Tuesday evenings at Chorlton High School.

About the class levels

Beginners courses are suitable for complete beginners, and also for more experienced dancers looking to practice the basics. In these classes, we cover essential technique, get a feel for the rhythms and styles of Arabic music, and have lots of fun dancing together in a relaxed group.

Beginners plus classes are suitable for dancers who have attended Rachael’s previous beginners courses for at least one term, and must be booked as an ‘add on’ to beginners classes. In these classes, we’ll go into more depth on a different topic each term. This is a chance to build on what you’ve learned in the beginners class, and start putting more of your dance skills into action!
