Class levels

Beginners courses are suitable for complete beginners, and also for more experienced dancers looking to practice the basics. In these classes, we cover essential technique, get a feel for the rhythms and styles of Arabic music, and have lots of fun dancing together in a relaxed group.

Beginners plus classes are suitable for dancers who have attended Rachael’s previous beginners courses for at least one term, and must be booked together with beginners classes. In these classes, we’ll go into more depth on a different topic each term – including regional dance styles, dancing with props, and learning about classic songs. This is a chance to build on what you’ve learned in the beginners class, and start putting more of your dance skills into action!
